CBD Infused Tea by Equilibrium (Sencha Green Tea) is the sencha green tea version of Equilibrium’s CBD infused tea range.

Sencha Green Tea is the quintessential tea of Japan. This early mid season sencha has sweet herbaceos notes laced through the earthy base flavouring with hints of oceanic umami and vegetal tones of fresh budding grass.

Green tea is known for its multitude of health benefits as it is full of bio active compounds known to enhance wellbeing. Green Tea is rich in polyphenols known for its anti inflammatory effects. Green tea is about 30 percent polyphenols by weight, including large amounts of a catechin called EGCG. Catechins are natural antioxidant so both these compounds are perfect synergistic partners for CBD. EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) is one of the most powerful compounds in green tea. It has been studied widely and is thought to be a great treatment in many conditions. Green tea is also rich in amino acid L-theanine, which increases the activity of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, which has anti-anxiety effects. This also increases dopamine and the production of alpha waves in the brain. This Sencha Green tea is infused with certified organic CBD (Cannabidiol) derived from hemp grown outdoors in Colorado, USA. The organically grown hemp is extracted using the solvent free CO2 process, producing a full-spectrum extract rich in CBD and terpenes.

In order to get the most of the benefits of our proprietary infusion process, we recommend longer steeping times (3-4 mins) to fully express the cannabinoids, and full flavour notes of this loose leaf tea.

How To Use:

Use 1 tea bag added to 227ml (8 fl oz) of water. Use water off the boil circa 80c. Allow tea to brew for 3 to 4 minutes and enjoy. We do not recommend exceeding 10 servings per day.
